While patchwork quilting is often seen as a craft, artists such as Adia Millett and Faith Ringgold bring the practice into the realm of fine art. Participants in this workshop view Millett’s work in the exhibition Breaking Patterns for inspiration, then join the artist to design a paper patchwork on their own or as part of a family project.

The patchwork can be hung with pride or used as inspiration for an actual patchwork quilt.

For ages 5 and up.Space is limited; RSVP is required
