LA Parks continues the summer tradition of Parks After Dark with "PAD in Motion"  Streets around select parks are closed off for families to safely walk and ride while maintaining the physical distancing needed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This “open streets” concept leads residents and families along a scenic route around and within their local park. Bikes, scooters, and skateboards are welcome!. Participants are reminded to wear protective equipment as well as a face covering to stay safe.

Parks participating on the following dates are: El Cariso Community Regional Park, Allen J. Martin Park, Eugene A. Obregon Park and Ruben F Salazar Park.

Thursday, August 20: 5pm - 8pm
Saturday, August 29: 9am - 12noon
Thursday, September 10: 5pm - 8pm
Saturday, September 19,: 9am - 12noon
Thursday, October 1: 5pm - 8pm
Saturday, October 10: 9am - 12noon

PAD in Motion also has dates at Carver and Owens Parks  and at Athens, Loma Alta, Mayberry and Roosevelt Parks.
