The Santa Monica Public Library hosts a series of pre Halloween events.

Monday:  
Halloweek Crafternoon
create and decorate for Halloween with a variety of scary and sweet crafts

Tuesday:
Make It: Haunted Houses
Recycle a paper bag and repurpose it into a spooky haunted house

Wednesday: 
Kids Writers’Group: Spooky Stories
Kids ages 8 - 12 can join this group for kids who love to write and share stories to give you the shivers​

Thursday: 
A Read for the Record Event: Maybe Something Beautiful 11:15am (ages 3 - 7) 
Kids can take a break from all the spooky stuff this week and help set a record reading F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell’s picture book and do a craf​t

Friday: 
Halloweek Family Film:The Nightmare Before Christmas (PG)
