General Election 2020
- see all dates
The general election is held on November 3, 2020, but voting has already begun—and there are so many convenient ways to cast that important vote this week.
Early voting begins October 24 (11 days) at some locations and October 30 (5 days) at others. Voting locations offer same day voter registration, replacement ballots, accessible voting machines, and language assistance.
All California voters are receiving a vote-by-mail ballot for the General Election. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by November 3, 2020; ballots returned at a secure ballot drop box must be deposited by 8pm on November 3, 2020.
To confirm current registration status, LA County voters can click here.
Orange County voters can verify their registration status here .
Please remember to wear a mask if voting in person, to help keep our poll volunteers safe!
