Free Family Outdoor Movie Night: The Wizard of Oz
If I only had a brain I'd go to the free outdoor screening of the Wizard of Oz in the Grant R. Brimhall Library Parking Lot. (And if I were really smart, I'd bring lawn chairs or blankets and snacks.)
In this 1939 G-rated classic, a young farm girl and her little dog are magically transported into the enchanted land of Oz via a Kansas tornado. As they travel down Oz’s Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard and ask him to send them home, they encounter a wonderful, funny, terrifying and, ultimately, enlightening group of characters, human and otherwise.
