Annenberg Space for Photography is extending the run of its National Geographic Photo Ark exhibit due to popular demand. Photo Ark has been one of the Space’s most popular exhibits over the past 10 years and is being extended from Wednesday, January 16 through Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday January 21.

This exhibit features a collection of stunning portraits of animals to highlight the diversity of species living in captivity and encourage conservation efforts before it’s too late.

The National Geographic Photo Ark is a multiyear project led by photographer Joel Sartore, whose life mission is to photograph every species living in the world’s zoos and wildlife sanctuaries.  Annenberg Space for Photography’s presentation of the Photo Ark features nearly 100 captivating, large-format prints of the world’s animals, bringing visitors eye-to-eye with endangered wildlife, inspiring them to save species at risk.

The exhibit is free to the public.
