 California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks opens in its new location at the Oaks Mall with "A Collection of Rarities," a solo exhibition featuring the contemporary surrealist painter, Kevin Sloan.

Kids may be drawn to his large-scale portraits of animals. Visitors can create their own personal experience with the paintings on view in the museum's "Forest of Wishes," a special interactive space where guests write their wishes for the animal kingdom on paper leaves that they add to a forest environment.

Curator-led tours are available and additional public programs will be featured. "A Collection of Rarities" is on view November 8, 2018-February 17, 2019.
