Metro Art Presents brings an exhilarating and interactive Capoeira Exchange to Union Station’s historic Ticketing Hall. The event features an introductory class and a traditional roda capoeira circle.

Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, music, and oral history, is known for complex, often quick moves with a wide variety of kicks, spins, and aerial techniques

Schedule:

  • 11:45am: Meet in front of Starbucks for a procession through the waiting room.
  • Noon-12:30pm: Classes for beginners, and separate warm-ups for more experienced participants.
  • 12:30pm-3pm: Roda
