The California African American Museum invites everyone to participate in this all-day, all-ages affair, featuring maker stations by local artists. Guests learn from the pros of the community and take home several creative treasures of their own.
Artists leading workshops include: Yrneh Gabon, who uses raw clay vessels and sculpture to discuss water issues; Silas Munro, whose lettering design exercises map and image our city; and Cole M. James, who presents a collage workshop centered on the narrative of preparing to breathe.
No prior art experience necessary. Art materials provided.
