It's all about the bugs... and the butterflies at the free educational event in the butterfly garden of Riley Wilderness Park.

Families can tour Riley Wilderness Park’s butterfly garden at the, family-friendly event and learn all about unique and unusual insects and how to attract bugs and butterflies to one's own garden. 

Visitors explore educational stations, informative exhibits and live anthropod friends. Plant and insect experts are available to provide educational information and answer questions. 

Additional activities include a live butterfly enclosure, children’s face painting, native plant sales, storytelling, park tours and arts and crafts. There is a live butterfly release at 3 p.m. 

Parking is free.
