Fiestas Patrias 2019 (Santa Fe Springs)
The annual Fiestas Patrias Celebration is held at Town Center Plaza. This year's event highlights the State of Hidalgo, named after the revolutionary leader Miguel Hidalgo. The evening’s festivities celebrate Mexico’s independence from Spain.
Headlining the live entertainment is Mariachi Los Camperos.! In addition, the event features a variety of Mariachi music, Folklorico dancing, Mexican food, arts and crafts, game booths and a beer garden hosted by the Santa Fe Springs Firefighters Association.
The evening’s ceremony includes the traditional “grito” or shout to ring in the day of independence along with representative from the Mexican Consulate and the Santa Fe Springs City Council.
A free shuttle service is provided from Los Nietos Park, located at 11143 Charlesworth Rd. to Town Center Plaza.
