Families can take a walk on the wild side as the LA Zoo celebrates World Gorilla Day.

Visitors follow a self-guided tour to see western lowland gorillas and other primates, while counting steps along the way! The wild adventure includes engaging animal keeper talks, special feedings, and enriching activities.

Other fun includes live music with Masanga Marimba, storytime with Angela & Lulingu author Brenda Scott Royce, an education station to learn about primates and an info station to learn about GRACE, the zoo's conservation partner. 

Plus, recycle unwanted handheld electronics and help save gorillas! Each donation raises money for gorilla conservation efforts.
