Santa Monica Symphony continues its tradition of free performances.

March's Spring concert features works by Mendelssohn, Kabalevsky, Strauss, and Haydn.

The performance is led by guest conductor Pola Benke.

Program: 

  • Felix Mendelssohn     The Hebrides Overture, Op. 26
  • Dmitry Kabalevsky     Cello Concerto No. 1, Op. 4

Intermission

  • Josef Strauss             Sphärenklänge Waltz, Op. 235

  • Joseph Haydn            Symphony No. 94, Surprise

     

All Santa Monica Symphony Concerts are free and open seating. Pre-registration is strongly recommended as seating is limited.

January 18:  Annual MLK Holiday Concert (held at Santa Monica High's Barnum Hall)

March 8: Spring Concert: An Eclectic Night

Ample street parking is available on Pearl Street, 16th Street, and 17th Street, as well as surrounding residential streets.
