All the world's a stage, including Griffith Park.
Free Shakespeare returns to Griffith Park for a full summer of theater under the stars.
The first play this summer is As You Like It.
As for location: the production is back at its regular spot at the Old LA Zoo Picnic Area, welcoming audiences back to the large, open, grassy lawn for performances all summer long. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The area closest to the stage is reserved for blankets only, while a little farther back, guests can bring low-seat beach chairs.
Registration is not required, though it is appreciated.
Guests can have a reserved seat waiting for them as a thank you for a $60 donation. Reserved seats are in a special elevated section with a great view of the stage.
Select dates have pre-show activities - we will update this event when Independent Shakespeare Co. releases their full schedule.
