CicLAvia returns to the Valley for a 5-mile route along Sherman Way from Canoga Park through Winnetka and into Reseda.

Participants can jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, spectate, and play, and may show up anywhere along the route to enjoy the open streets and explore the Valley.

CicLAvia – The Valley offers three Hubs filled with plenty of activities and programs along the route. Hubs are walking zones (bike dismounts) and meeting points along the route with the Canoga Park Hub located near Shoup Ave and Sherman Way; the Winnetka Hub located near Winnetka Ave and Sherman Way; and the Reseda Hub located near Lindley Ave and Sherman Way. Hubs offer family-friendly activities, restrooms, free water refilling stations, free basic bike repair, bike parking, and first aid. Free pedicab rides are also available at each information booth.

CicLAvia is derived from a Spanish term for "bike path," and its goal is to turn LA into one big bike path, if just for a few hours. People are encouraged to leave their cars at home and bike, walk, skateboard, or push a stroller to discover our beautiful city at non-motorized speeds. CicLAvia offers a wide variety of activities for people of all interests and ages, including music, performances, food trucks galore, and more.
