South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) is partnering with OceansWide in a STEAM workshop for kids to design and build R.O.V.'s (remotely operated underwater vehicles) and control them underwater at the museum.

OceansWide is a marine science nonprofit organization made up of scientists, teachers and marine professionals who educate students of all ages about the amazing and mysterious world that exists underwater through hands-on experiences and meaningful adventures. Scientists from OceansWide will guide the workshop participants in learning about ROVs and their uses in scientific discovery as we build working ROV models from simple materials and "fly" them in a tank outside the museum.
