Volcanoes, diamonds, marble, and fossils… discover how these are all part of our fascinating geologic cycle in a hands-on program with Ranger Eric Powers.

He’s bringing his fascinating rock collection and invites you to bring your own specimens to investigate together. After the presentation, we will head to the beach to explore and identify some of our local rocks, which surprisingly are not originally from Long Island!
