Become an environmental biologist and learn what you can do to help protect the Long Island Sound in this family-friendly program at The Whaling Museum and Education Center of Cold Spring Harbor.

Sunday, October 11: 
Discover threats to our water supply using a hands-on interactive 3D Enviroscape activity and experiment with creating an aquifer. Explore eco-friendly alternatives to cleaning products and mix up a sample to take home.

Sunday, October 25: 
Meet critters from Long Island Sound with a special visit from the Waterfront Center. Roll up your sleeves and figure out how healthy the harbor’s water is in a series of fun experiments. Design and create a nature journal to record your observations about the Sound and all the plants and animals that call it home.
