The Paint-Out! supports The Art of Edward Lange Project, an ongoing initiative by Preservation Long Island to dive deeply into the life and work of Long Island landscape artist Edward Lange (1846-1912), whose numerous landscape paintings survive today as one of the best visual records of late nineteenth-century Long Island life. No previous painting experience is required. Parking is available on site. Purchase tickets here.
