For three hours on the first Friday evening of summer and early autumn, Mattituck's Love Lane closes to traffic, allowing pedestrians to explore and sample the area.

The popular free monthly community event runs on the first Friday of each month from May to October. The series is hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce and features local businesses — including several not from Love Lane.
