Inspired by wildlife and American history, Pam Brown’s sculptures on display at Gallery North explore themes of extinction, the human condition, and the interplay between nature and industry. Using wire, sheet metal and other salvaged materials from abandoned sites, she constructs skeletal, artifact-like forms that blur boundaries between the organic and man-made, familiar and uncanny.
NOTE: Opening Reception is Thursday, November 13 from 6-8pm. The opening reception will be free and open to the public and includes free food and refreshments provided.
