On the nights of the full and new moon in May and June, horseshoe crabs arrive at Fire Island’s beaches to lay their eggs. <!--break-->
Join park rangers to learn about these prehistoric creatures and why they are so important to the food web, as we walk to a bay beach to observe them. Dress for the weather and for walking on sand.
