The annual holiday tree lighting and holiday extravaganza takes place in the Bellmore village area. Bedford Avenue is closed to vehicular traffic, making this a safe space for families to roam.

Festivities include: Christmas tree lighting (7pm), a visit from Santa, a live nativity, festive holiday music, horse and carriage rides (6-9pm), trolley rides through the community (6-10 pm) and refreshments. NOTE: Some activities have a fee. This event is rain or shine.
