This AdvoKids program focuses on Juneteenth, the day of the emancipation of slavery in the United States. During this program visitors will be able to gain a better understanding of this federal holiday and will make a celebratory confetti popper to celebrate. 

AdvoKids is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.
