Looking for the best things to do in Connecticut over Christmas weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for the holiday weekend.

'Tis the weekend for packing in some holiday fun indoors or out! Build a holiday tree in Norwalk or try digging for gems in Montville. You can also take your family to the Hebron Lights drive-thru holiday light show, it's a dazzling spectacular of lights set against the Hebron Fairground's dark backdrop and it raises money for several Connecticut children's charities. Also available are at-home kids activities and cool virtual programs, like Funky Divas and Dudes Dance Class—via our online programs platform, Poppins At Home.

After the holiday weekend is over, make sure you check out our 25 Fun and Free Things to do With Kids Over the Holiday Break. We hope you and your family have a jolly holiday season!

To make sure that you don't miss any of the fun, subscribe to our weekly newsletters and follow us on FacebookTwitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. Read on for our highlights of events happening this weekend, and check our frequently updated daily event calendar for even more ideas.

Note: Many locations in Connecticut are requiring masks be worn indoors and some venues are requiring proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test, for entry. Check locations for specific details.
