Enter a scarecrow contest. Create your favorite storybook character, animal, historic person, or television character—just have fun and be creative.

First prize winner will get $100 gift card, a Smolak Farms apple pie, and a 1/2 bushel of apples. First Runner Up will receive a $50 gift card, 1 dozen cider donuts, and a hayride. And the Honorable Mention will win a $25 gift card and 1 dozen cider donuts.

Scarecrows must be dropped off no later than Friday, September 25th at 10am. they will be displayed throughout the farm the weekend of September 26th-27th. Guests will vote for the best scarecrow throughout the weekend.

Scarecrows must be a maximum height of 8-feet, maximum width of 4-feet. Please construct your scarecrow for durability, it will need to withstand any inclement weather over the contest weekend. Make sure to include a sign that lists the title, description, and name of your entry.
