Lowell celebrates its 35th Folk Festival with three days of musicians, food vendors, and artisans celebrating folk culture from around the globe. The festival begins Friday evening with a dance parade at 6:15 and multiple concerts on different stages.

Performances, demonstrations of traditional art forms, and more will take place from noon to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. There are five stages and many pavillions/activity centers throughout the downtown area.

See the event website for complete information. Maps and programs are available at the National Park Visitor Center at 246 Market Street. The Lowell Folk Festival will take place rain or shine.
