Angels Gate Cultural Center hosts monthly Family Art Workshops with art activities for kids and adults. In this session, experiment with printmaking in the kitchen.

Use fruit and veggie pieces destined for the compost pile to create some beautiful designs, with the naturally occurring textures and patterns to make stamps.

Supplies needed:

Paper (any kind will work)

Ink Pads (or paint)

Fruit & Veggies (see below for suggestions)

Cutting board and knife (for the grown-ups)

Clear area to make a mess. Aprons optional.

Any fruit or veggie piece will work for this. Some suggestions include potatoes, carrots, celery bunches, kale leaves, beets, strawberries, string beans and apples
