On Mondays throughout the month of July, children can participate in a reading program sponsored by Carlyle House and Alexandria Library. All of the books have historical themes and are connected with the Carlyle House. 

It is important to note that children who are participating in the “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” Program can count these books towards the book goal.
