The award winning ballet company returns to DC for Lunar New Year festivities.

Raise the Red Lantern tells the story of a concubine sold by her mother in the 1920s.  Traditional Chinese costumes, music, opera and puppet theater bring the story to life with a full orchestra.  Adults and older children can enjoy this cultural experience in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
