REACH to FOREST is a two-week exploration of art, science, and nature where humans and forests converge. Visitors can enjoy free programs, films, art installations, conversations, and more.
US Premiere of Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur, Acupunk
- February 22-25, at 7:30-8pm on the REACH Plaza
- Free live theater event featuring 18-foot-tall giant puppets enacting a poetic fable about healing the Earth
- Food trucks with snacks available for purchase
- March 2 from 11am-4pm in the Welcome Pavilion, Justice Forum and Studio J
- Includes activities for kids and author readings curated and introduced by Nora Krug, Children’s Book Editor at the Washington Post
- Dedicated to youth and children, the fair features a collection of books on the environment and well-being for sale
- February 25 from 11am-4pm in the Welcome Pavilion, Justice Forum, Studio F, and PT-109
- Free film screenings, hands-on craft activities, and educational giveaways including magazines, coloring sheets, forestry career cards, and free “Every Kid Outdoors” passes for fourth-graders courtesy of the US Forest Service
- Special appearances by Woodsy Owl and Smokey the Bear
