Celebrate the first president of the United States with free admission to Mount Vernon, his beloved home. Meet General Washington and hear 18th-century music during this annual celebration. Admission is free for Presidents Day and George Washington’s birthday. 

Operating hours:

  • Monday, February 19: 9am to 5pm
  • Thursday, February 22: 9am to 4pm

Admission tickets will be distributed on-site upon arrival; a limited number of tickets are available.

Mansion tours are timed. Mansion tour tickets will be distributed first come, first serve. Depending on the number of guests, there may be a 2-3 hour delay between arrival and tour time. Arrive early to receive the earliest tour times.
