Annual Kite Day

Sun May 2, 2021
Various times
6 and up
$10 - 1 kite; $15 - 2 kites; $20 - 3 kites

Celebrate National Kite Month on the grounds of Fonthill Castle. Families can learn how to build and fly a kite with award-winning kite expert, Clifford “The Kiteman” Quinn. This event is held rain or shine. Reserve a time in advance as the event tends to sell out.

The time slots are as follows and include up to 5 peope:
10:30am, noon, 1:30pm, and 3pm.

Be sure to secure a spot in advance as capacity per time slot is limited. Registration includes an hour-long session to decorate and build your kite(s) in the Fonthill Castle tent and then time  to fly kites on the grounds.

Please keep your family and others safe by always wearing masks and maintaining social distancing measures. If an event appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
