This is the practice run for the actual Crossing which takes place on Christmas Day at Washington Crossing Historic Park. Hundreds of reenactors dress in Continental military uniforms as they make their way across the Delaware River in three replica Durham boats.

Besides witnessing the reenactment, visitors can participate in additional activities and demonstrations that take place throughout the historic village. The actual crossing ceremony begins at approximately 1 pm.
