Special events on kick off day, Saturday, February 8, include fireside stories, journey cakes, and tap-drilling contests.
Two types of Maple Sugar Tours are offered:
- Sugarbush Tours (11am, 1pm, and 2pm): A 1-mile moderate hike through field and forest to the sugar shack (weather dependent)
- Maple Lane Tours (12pm and 3pm): Suitable for little legs, a short walk to the sugar maple stand
Dress for the weather (and possible mud), not stroller-friendly.
