The Academy Museum hosts drop-in workshops for families on the first three Saturdays of the month.

November's workshops are inspired by ofrendas and Dia de los Muertos.

December's workshops are really out there, with alien creatures and special effects inspired by the Star Wars universe screenings in the Family Matinee series

Looking ahead, February's stop-motion animation workshops are inspired by the film Ponyo.

This activity can be joined anytime from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.

Museum admission is free for youth ages 17 and under.
