For centuries, people have called out to the universe looking for answers. Now, the universe is calling back - and so are Disney and Pixar fans!

Disney and Pixar's Elio debuts with a Fan Event at the El Capitan.

About the film: The cosmic misadventure introduces Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination and a huge alien obsession. So, when he’s beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide, Elio’s all in for the epic undertaking. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s leader, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions, and somehow discover who and where he is truly meant to be. 

The film's voice cast includes Zoe Saldana, Brad Garrett,Jameela Jamil, and Yonas Kibreab as Elio.

Extras at the El Capitan include an all-new Light and Projection Experience pre-show and a photo op and mural wall.

Fan Event tickets include a reserved seat, an Elio reusable water bottle, popcorn, a fountain drink, and an event credential.

The film continues its run at the El Capitan through July 20, 2025.

Elio is rated PG for some action/peril and thematic elements, and has a runtime of 1 hour and 39 minutes.
