The beating heart of this triple repertory dance program is Boléro, choreographed by The Ruth and A. Morris Williams, Jr. Artistic Director Angel Corella to the beloved music of Maurice Ravel. This ballet’s daring feats of athleticism entrance audiences with deliberate, percussive movements that build in a performance-long crescendo.

Boléro is followed by the elegance of Dance Card, choreographed by Russell Ducker and evoking the golden age of high society ballrooms. To complete this dynamic trio of ballets, we proudly present the world premiere of a new work by choreographer Stanton Welch AM. These performances feature music by contemporary composers Jennifer Higdon and Michael Nyman.
