The World and Me: Deep Sea Dancing (at National Museum of Natural History)
Visitors will get a closer look at different animals that find their home at the bottom of the ocean. See specimens up close, learn about the amazing diversity found in the deep sea, and engage with educators and scientists from our museum.
Local Motion Project will hold two workshops during the event. Join Tabata Vara and Marina Cridge from Local Motion Project for a dance and movement exploration inspired by creatures of the deep. Workshop spots are limited, so please check in with an educator at arrival to claim a spot. Workshop times will be offered at:
- 10:15am - 10:45am
- 11:30am - 12:00pm
