Throw Down Cornhole Festival
- see all dates
The Throwdown Cornhole Festival returns to beachside Ventura County Fairgrounds. Over 1000 teams from the US and around the world compete in what has grown to be the world’s largest and most popular cornhole tournament.
Attendees can sign up to compete, watch the tournament, or play just for fun.
New this year is an axe throwing competition, the SoCal ThrowCal tournament. The three-day event attracts some of the top ‘throwers’ in the sport and includes competitions in hatchet, big axe, and knife throwing categories.
For those who want to play cornhole just for fun, all festival attendees are invited to play for free on the open-to-the-public courts, or participate in non-tournament cash games.
Kids can play on the open courts and in various tournaments. There is also a kid’s zone with rides.
Saturday's event includes the Throw Down Truck Show that showcases classic vehicles from the 1960’s through the 1980’s – with a special emphasis on vintage ‘square body’ body types. Also new this year, the Throw Down Food Experience on Sunday serves up over 25 curated food trucks and pop-up restaurant.
