The Brooklyn International Music Festival is a celebration of the music and culture from the diverse ethnic communities of New York City, offering dance, music, workshops, and lectures to explore an array of international and diasporic musical traditions.

8pm: Brooklyn Maqam presents Mehrnam Rastegari - Traditional Persian band plays folk and traditional music of Iran
9pm: Shiva Lakhan - Versatile and World Reowned West Indian Classical and Chutney Singer from Trinidad
10pm: Wazumbians - Afrofusion music group from Ghana whose sounds re-echoes the famous Ghanaian group Osibisa

3pm: Oran Etkin: Timbalooloo - instruments from around the world come to life and talk through their music so that kids conceive of music as the magical act of making your instrument talk!
4pm: Miriam Elhajli y La Nueva Canción - your local neighborhood band of South American bandits, here to rock your world with our deep love of cumbia, joropo, vallenato, bullerengue and salsa!
5pm: Tambor y Caña - Afro-Venezuelan Drums & Dance 6pm: CTMD presents Jalikunda - an ensemble of Gambian griots, musicians, and dancers dedicated to preserving and presenting West African oral history, instrumental music, and dance

7pm: The Jalopy Chorus - Jalopy’s Resident Vocal Ensemble, performing world vocal harmonies
7:30pm: Baklava Express - NYC Based, Middle Eastern fusion band
8:30pm: CTMD presents the New York Tibetan Ensemble - Based in Queens, the New York Tibetan Ensemble strives to preserve and present traditional music and dance forms from across Tibet.
9:30pm: Saha Gnawa - Contemporary Moroccan Gnawa band led by Ma'alem Hassan Ben Jaafer
