A fireworks show caps off a day of family fun activities and entertainment at the Lakewood Civic Center.

The Lakewood Civic Center Block Party begins at 4pm with the Family Fun Zone activity area for kids and families and the "On the Block Food Court” with a wide variety of food booths and food trucks.

Live entertainment starts at 5pm.

The Family Fun Zone features carnival games and amusements for kids and families, which typically include a mechanical bull and a giant slide, an adrenaline obstacle course, bouncers, a joust war game, and a rock climbing wall. 

The On the Block Food Court features Lakewood restaurants and specialty food purveyors offering a wide variety of food, desserts, and beverages.

A Fireworks show caps off the festivities at 9:15 pm.

The Block Party stretches from the Civic Center parking lot (at Hardwick Street) southbound along Clark Avenue to Del Amo Boulevard.
