STEM Maker Kits at Mill River Park
- see all dates
Make your winter break extra magical with Mill River Park Collaborative’s brand-new STEM Maker Kits, perfect for children ages 3 and up! Each kit comes packed with everything you need to build exciting hands-on projects. Families can jump into the fun together as children take the lead in building their projects! MRPC staff will be on hand to answer any questions and assist as needed.
Spin ’n’ Skate Snowman – Kids can design a winter wonderland, build a simple circuit, and send their paper snowman twirling on its icy stage. Hands-on science meets winter magic!
Rubber Band Racers – Kids can craft their own colorful race car—frame, wheels, and all. Pull it back, let it zoom, and watch your custom creation race across the room!
3D Discovery Kit – Kids can build their own hologram projector and stereoscope, turning simple pictures into floating holograms and jump-out 3D images. Science with a fun throwback twist!
Recommended, with adult support, for ages 4 and up.
Maker Space available from 11 AM to 4 PM on December 29th, 30th, 31st, and January 1st. A take home option is also available for those who prefer to build at their own pace.
Supplies are limited, so be sure to sign up—registration closes December 19th.
