WondeRoom: Rainbow Bird at Sandy Spring Museum
- see all dates
Also on May 19, 2024; June 9, 2024.
Join master dancer and artist Carla Perlo, assisted by Delante White, in a workshop inspired by the story of the Rainbow Bird by Judy Lieberman. In this hands-on workshop, explore themes of bravery, adventure, hard work, friendship, and love through writing, drawing, conversation, and creative movement exercises and making a book to take home.
This event is $15/participant and members are $12. For accommodation requests, please contact the museum via email or at 301-774-0022. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
WondeRoom activities are made by and for all people, inclusive of race, culture, citizenship, community, religion, or gender. WondeRoom activities are designed for intergenerational collaboration. Children (designed for ages 4-9) and their accompanying grown-ups work together.
