Wantagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Block Party
Watch local neighbors, schools and organizations march along Wantagh Avenue in the fourth annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Sponsored by the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce, this event kicks off at 2pm. Local fire and police, elected officials, local organizations, pipe bands, marching bands, dancers, entertainers, car clubs, local youth sports teams, businesses, and more are slated to parade down Wantagh Avenue.
Immediately following the parade a Block Party is planned with music, food trucks, vendors, and entertainment for the kids.
Pipe bands, cars, floats, trucks and more will be participating. There will also be a block party along Railroad Avenue following the parade. The 2024 Grand Marshal is John Theissen founder of the John Theissen Children's Foundation. John has been helping children and families in need since 1992.
