Monterey Park pays tribute to the beauty of the Japanese culture with the Cherry Blossom Festival Virtual Event.

Among the activities that can be enjoyed at home are:

Origami Demonstration via Zoom - ( April 18 at 4pm Pacific)
Free Cherry Blossom craft kits (limited supply). Kits available on April 19 at the Bruggemeyer Library (318 S. Ramona Ave.)
Free coloring pages of past Cherry Blossom Festival posters:
Geisha,. Samurai Warrior, and Kids Cherry Blossom
Japanese themed Diamond Paint Kits, ($5 per kit, limited supply).
Cherry Blossom Virtual Paint Night, (April 23, 7pm Pacific, $45 paint supplies included. Must register by April 16)
Children's Story Time with Library (April 16)
Cherry Blossom Read-Aloud with award-winning author/illustrator Sunny Seki of his first story, The Tale of the Lucky Cat. (Link to come)
