Virtual Duckling Day
Make way for (virtual) ducklings!
Boston's Friends of the Public Garden hosts a live virtual Ducking Day on Facebook. Duckling Day is a longstanding city tradition (often described as the cutest event in Boston).
The broadcast features:
• Warm welcome from the Friends Executive Director, Liz Vizza
• Greetings from Mayor Marty Walsh
• Fun video remembering Ducking Days past
• Live reading of Make Way for Ducklings by WCVB-5s Rhondella Richardson, with her daughter Rhylee.
The Facebook event begins at 12 noon Eastern and runs about 20 minutes. The footage will be available after the broadcast for those who can't watch live.
12 noon Eastern, 11am Central, 9am Pacific
