Visiting artist Natalie Stopka helps kids create botanical works of art featuring common herbs and garden flowers—like marigolds, coreopsis and hollyhock. Participants practice the technique of hapa zome, also known as plant pounding, and then bundle-dye silk handkerchiefs using simple, ecologically friendly processes and aroma-therapeutic ways to explore botanical color.

Admission is free until noon on Saturday.
