Bundle up and find out what your favorite Prospect Park animals are doing this winter. Join Alliance naturalists for the Great Backyard Bird Count, a nation-wide conservation effort established in 1900 and much more.
Discovery Pack, 12–3 pm
Prospect Park Alliance invites you to get inspired by nature with our Discovery Packs, ready-to-go kits filled with nature activities for families.
Migration Games, 12–3 pm
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a migrating bird? The Audubon Center has a series of floor games designed to replicate all the stages of a birds long journey.
Animal Encounter, 2 pm
Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 3 pm.
Great Backyard Bird Count, 3 pm
Join this fun, nationwide Citizen Science project. Each checklist submitted helps researchers learn more about the health of birds and how to best protect them.

Celebrate the birthdays of Washington and Lincoln with presidential trivia for kids and a special birthday cake for George and Abe. One round of trivia will start at 2pm and another at 3pm.

Learn about salve and then make a small jar of your own scented salve to take home. Guests can choose from a variety of essential oils to scent an all-natural salve similar to 19th-century recipes.
