Party on Park
Get out your bike, scooter and/or walking shoes -- because Park Avenue from 125th Street to 118th Street is closed to cars, and open to people!
Citi Bike is on hand to unlock bikes for adults, and bikes are available for kids to borrow. The NYC Department of Transportation is on hand to fit your whole family with free bike helmets to take home.
Each block along Park Avenue is full of themed activities, including shows by The Story Pirates, science fun with the UNI Project and HypotheKIDS, art fun by Creative Art Works, a rock wall, a bounce house, facepainting, and more.
In addition to providing a safe space to ride, scoot and stroll along the west side of Park Avenue, at every cross-street under the viaduct there will be zones of family-friendly fun:
125th: Street art and bike rides
124th: Old school jam
123rd: Food
122nd: Fitness
121st: Kids Zone
120th: Health
119th: Resources
118th: Bike helmet giveaway
